MobyMax Vocabulary teachers can select and assign words from the Vocabulary module's word list. This enables teachers to introduce new words to students during the "Find" cycle. Once teachers have chosen the word(s) they want to assign, students will receive the word(s) at the start of their next Vocabulary session. Students must pass the word successfully to mark it as known, or if they miss the word, it will be added to future practice cycles.

To select and assign words to your students in Vocabulary:

  1. Sign in to your MobyMax teacher account.
  2. Select the "Curriculum" tab at the top of the page.
  3. Click on the "Vocabulary" button.
  4. Select the "Words" tab at the top of the page.
  5. Place a checkmark in the empty box for any word(s) that you want to assign.
  6. Click the "Assign" button at the top of the column.
  7. Place a checkmark to the left of any student name that should receive the words.
  8. Click the "Assign" button.


Note: The Vocabulary module does not allow words to be added manually. Teachers looking for a feature like this will want to review the Spelling Lists module and how manual words can be added and assigned.
