Writing Workshop in MobyMax operates differently from other adaptive modules, as it does not assign skills based on placement tests. Instead, the module takes an approach that guides students through the entire writing process of narrative, expository, and persuasive pieces at their grade level. As students progress through each lesson in Writing Workshop, they will work on refining and improving their writing pieces by practicing different skills.

We recommended allowing students to complete each lesson in full which makes it possible for them to experience the entire writing cycle. The student's grade level for Writing Workshop is determined by their registered grade level in the teacher's MobyMax Roster.
