The Early Reading Trio module guides students through a three-step process of constructing words using letters and sounds, reading stories formed from the constructed words, and eventually creating and illustrating their own stories with the utilized words. This program facilitates interaction with letters and words in various modes of perception, which enables students to practice and reinforce their reading and phonics abilities.

MobyMax includes automatic tracking of student progress toward fluency within each of the program's three modules. The software will assign appropriate practice with letters, words, and stories to each student until fluency is achieved. Additionally, teachers have the capability to manually adjust the fluency and practice parameters through the teacher settings panel and can allow students to practice each module independently or linked together.
