MobyMax offers a great way to motivate your students with custom certificates! These certificates are earned when a student reaches a learning milestone while working on skills in MobyMax. Once earned, students can design their own certificate using the custom certificate builder, adding a personal touch to their achievement.
Typically, students earn a certificate after successfully passing five lessons in most subject modules. However, for modules that are not structured with lessons, there are different defined milestones for earning certificates.
The following achievements are required for a student to earn a certificate in each module:

| Math, Science, Social Studies, Language, Reading Stories, Reading Skills, Writing Workshop, Phonics and Spelling Rules, Foundational Reading | Pass 5 automatically assigned lessons (Teacher assigned lessons do not count towards earning Certificates) |
| Fact Fluency | Becoming 100% fluent in a fact domain (i.e. Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication or Division) |
| Numbers | Complete Numbers Part 2; Complete Add & Subtract Part 2 |
| Vocabulary | 50 Words Known |
| Alphabet Letters and Alphabet Sounds | Become 100% fluent in all of the letters |
| Early Words (part of Early Reading Trio) | Complete a word level |
| Early Stories and Early Writing (part of Early Reading Trio) | Complete/Write 20 stories |
| Phonics Blending and Spelling | Fluent in 50 Phonics Blending Words |
| Phonics Sounds and Sight Words | Complete the module |
| Spelling Lists | Complete a level |
To view certificates students have earned:
- Sign in to your MobyMax teacher account.
- Select the "Tools" tab at the top of the page.
- Click on the "Certificates" button under the "Engage" header.
- Select the name of a student to view or print any certificates that they have earned.
Note: There are radio buttons at the top of the page to filter by "Show all certificates" or "Show only unprinted certificates" to help teachers keep track of which certificates you have printed out for a student already.
