Whether you need to assign new skills or remove old ones, MobyMax makes this process easy! There are several reasons why teachers might need to remove an assignment they've given to their students, but MobyMax streamlines this task, making it quick and effortless. Teachers can effortlessly manage assignments via the "Assignments" module in New MobyMax to cater to any assignment requirements for their students.

To remove an individual student from an assignment:

  1. Sign in to your MobyMax account. 
  2. Select the "Assignments" link on your Quick Access menu.
  3. Click on the "Manage Upcoming Assignments" tab at the top of the page.
  4. Use the drop-down menu to select the desired subject module (i.e. Math, Language, etc..).
  5. Click on an Assignment name in blue.
  6. Select the "Students Assigned" link at the top of the page.
  7. Place a checkmark to the left of any student name that should be removed from the assignment.
  8. Click on the "Remove Student From Assignment" button. 
  9. Select "Delete" again to confirm you want to delete the assignment.


To delete an assignment for all students:

  1. Sign in to your MobyMax account. 
  2. Select the "Assignments" link on your Quick Access menu.
  3. Use the drop-down menu to select the desired subject module (i.e. Math, Language, etc..).
  4. Check the box(es) to the left of the assignment you want to delete.
  5. Click the “Delete” button. 
  6. Select "Delete" again to confirm you want to permanently delete the assignment.

Note: If a student has completed the lesson, or started the lesson, they will lose their progress.

To remove assignments for an individual student:
  1. Sign in to your MobyMax teacher account.
  2. Click the subject area link on the left navigation menu under the "Subjects" header.
  3. Select the subject button (i.e. Math, Language, etc..) 
  4. Select the "Lessons" tab located at the top of the page.
  5. Click on the gray “Assignments” tab.
  6. Select the gray "Students" sub-tab.
  7. Click on a student's name by clicking on it.
  8. Select the trashcan icon located on the left side of the assignment name and then click "OK" at the prompt.


You can also manage upcoming automatically assigned lessons from MobyMax by selecting the "Upcoming Auto-Assigned Skills" tab.

To delete an assignment for all students:

  1. Sign in to your MobyMax teacher account.
  2. Click the subject area link on the left navigation menu under the "Subjects" header.
  3. Select the subject button (i.e. Math, Language, etc..) 
  4. Select the "Lessons" tab located at the top of the page.
  5. Click on the gray “Assignments” tab.
  6. Ensure that the "My Assignments" sub-tab is selected.
  7. Click the trashcan icon to the left of any assignment name that you want to delete.
  8. Select "OK" to delete the assignment.


Note: Once an assignment has been deleted, it will no longer appear as an option for students to work on.
