Moby Science follows the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), which is a set of standards for science education. To provide comprehensive coverage of commonly taught topics in addition to the NGSS, the Moby Curriculum team also created an alternative set of standards called MobyMax World Standards. The team referenced science textbooks and scope and sequence documents from various districts across the country to develop MobyMax World Standards. If you reside in a state that implements the NGSS for Science, your teacher account will automatically display student progress based on the NGSS.
